23 year old Tania McGowen, was the mother to a beautiful 5 month old baby boy “Mecca” Tania McGowen starved the five month old baby and ab*sed him for several weeks after his father moved to Texas. A few days before his death, she left the baby in the club house of her apartment community for a few hours, then returned to check on him. However, when she returned there’s video footage of her throwing the baby against the couch and hitting him in his back repeatedly.

Ms. McGowen was also seen putting a blanket and pillow over her child’s face briefly before walking away. Tania McGowen states that she laid the baby down at 8:00PM on December 10th and later went to check on him at midnight and saw that he appeared to still be sleeping. She then didn’t check on him again until the next day around 2 PM and the baby was cold and unresponsive.

Upon arriving to the hospital the child was pronounced dead. He was ONLY 7 pounds at the time of his death. The officers investigating her case asked her did she notice her son getting smaller and she responded that she just “thought he was growing taller” It is also said that Ms.McGowen never took the baby to any of his appointments.

On April 16, 1947, Rudolf Höss was executed in the old field of Auschwitz I, in occupied Poland. As the founder and first commander of the Auschwitz complex, he had overseen one of the largest mass killing systems of the Holocaust during World War II.   After Germany’s defeat, Höss was captured by British forces in 1946. He later testified at the Nuremberg Trials before being tried by the National Supreme Court of Poland.  The court found him guilty of crimes against humanity and sentenced him to death.   His execution was carried out beside the ruins of the old Gestapo building, only a few meters from the villa where he had lived with his family while the extermination complex was in operation. In April 1981, the body of a young white woman was found in a ditch on Greenlee Road in Newton Township, Ohio. She was wearing a buckskin poncho, so investigators called her the "Buckskin Girl." That same day, her body was examined. It was found that she had suffered serious injuries to her head and neck before being strangled to death about 48 hours before her body was found. Despite many years of hard work by investigators, the identity of the Buckskin Girl remained unknown for over 30 years. On April 9, 2018, the Miami Valley Regional Crime Laboratory announced that they had identified the woman as 21-year-old Marcia Lenore King from Little Rock, Arkansas. Marcia had last been seen by her family in 1980. Although she wasn’t officially reported missing, her family had kept searching for her. The identification was made possible by detailed DNA testing.
