21-year-old Nicole Carol Miller, boarding Flight 93 on September 11, 2001, with only a few hours to live.
Nicole Carol Miller
was a 21-year-old student from San Jose, California, whose life was one of several cut short aboard United Airlines Flight 93 on September 11, 2001.
The Fateful Delay: Nicole was only on Flight 93 due to a last-minute change. After vacationing on the East Coast, she was originally scheduled to fly home on Monday night, September 10, but a thunderstorm forced her to reschedule to the following morning.
Life and Ambitions: At the time, she was a Dean's List student at West Valley College in Saratoga, just eight units away from finishing her studies. She had recently been accepted as a transfer student to Chico State University to complete her Bachelor of Arts degree.
