The woman captured in a widely shared video physically and verbally assaulting staff at a San Francisco restaurant has been arrested and subsequently fired from her job- Video Below 

The incident occurred on the night of Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Hazie’s, a popular restaurant in the Hayes Valley neighborhood of San Francisco. Viral footage shows the woman, identified as 32-year-old Shireen Akfari, aggressively confronting restaurant employees after being denied further service due to her behavior. 

Video shared across social media platforms depicts the confrontation escalating quickly: Akfari is seen shouting at staff, entering restricted areas such as the kitchen and bar, and filming the employees before striking one of them. She also knocked a phone out of a bystander’s hand and charged at another diner who was recording. 

At one point, a restaurant worker body-slammed Akfari to the ground in self-defense as the situation intensified. Staff and patrons then escorted her and a boyfriend, 33-year-old Christian Buchman, outside, where the altercation continued on the sidewalk.

In the outdoor footage, Akfari is shown grabbing a bartender’s hair and refusing to release it until he reportedly threw her phone to distract her. She then released the hair and begins running to get the phone. As she’s doing that, she is tripped and forcibly lands on the pavement.

Police later arrived and developed probable cause to arrest her for public intoxication.

The viral nature of the videos led to Akfari being publicly identified. She had been employed as a senior manager of growth marketing and retention at the fitness app company Strava, but the company publicly condemned her conduct and announced she had been dismissed. 

This is a reminder that situations may be temporary, but what makes it to the internet lasts forever lol.

Despite many years of hard work by investigators, the identity of the Buckskin Girl remained unknown for over 30 years. On April 9, 2018, the Miami Valley Regional Crime Laboratory announced that they had identified the woman as 21-year-old Marcia Lenore King from Little Rock, Arkansas.
