Angel Lynn was 19-years-old when she was kidnapped in broad daylight by her boyfriend, Chay Bowskill, in September 2020. The incident unfolded on a roadside in Leicestershire, where CCTV captured Bowskill grabbing Angel and forcing her into a van as she tried to flee.


 

Moments later, the van sped away at high speeds. During the journey, Angel fell from the vehicle, suffering catastrophic brain injuries that left her unable to walk, talk, or care for herself.

It was soon revealed that Bowskill had exhibited coercive and controlling behaviour leading up to the kidnapping. In 2022, he was convicted of kidnap, coercive control, and perverting the course of justice and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

As the founder and first commander of the Auschwitz complex, he had overseen one of the largest mass killing systems of the Holocaust during World War II.   After Germany’s defeat, Höss was captured by British forces in 1946. He later testified at the Nuremberg Trials before being tried by the National Supreme Court of Poland.  The court found him guilty of crimes against humanity and sentenced him to death.   His execution was carried out beside the ruins of the old Gestapo building, only a few meters from the villa where he had lived with his family while the extermination complex was in operation. In April 1981, the body of a young white woman was found in a ditch on Greenlee Road in Newton Township, Ohio. She was wearing a buckskin poncho, so investigators called her the "Buckskin Girl." That same day, her body was examined. It was found that she had suffered serious injuries to her head and neck before being strangled to death about 48 hours before her body was found. Despite many years of hard work by investigators, the identity of the Buckskin Girl remained unknown for over 30 years. On April 9, 2018, the Miami Valley Regional Crime Laboratory announced that they had identified the woman as 21-year-old Marcia Lenore King from Little Rock, Arkansas. Marcia had last been seen by her family in 1980. Although she wasn’t officially reported missing, her family had kept searching for her. The identification was made possible by detailed DNA testing.
