On August 14, 2005, the world witnessed one of aviation’s most haunting tragedies when Helios Airways Flight 522 left Cyprus for Prague and slowly turned into what would later be called a ghost aircraft.  Because the pressurization system had not been set correctly, everyone on board—pilots, crew, and passengers—was gradually overcome by hypoxia,  slipping into confusion and then unconsciousness as the cabin lost oxygen. The plane continued flying silently on autopilot over Greece, ignoring calls from air traffic control, until two fighter jets were sent to investigate.  What the pilots saw felt unreal: an entire cabin motionless, passengers slumped in their seats, and only one flight attendant still conscious with an oxygen mask on, desperately trying to regain control even as the situation slipped beyond saving. While he was there, he was abducted and taken to a ranch in the middle of nowhere, where he was tortured and soᶁomized for hours before being ǩilleᶁ in a human sacrifice ɍitual. He was ǩilleᶁ by having his head cut off with a machete. His brains were then removed and boiled in a pot. His ǩillers inserted a wire through his spinal column.
