 This man woke up from a coma just long enough to solve his own murder.

Daniel Waterman was in a horrific car accident with his girlfriend. The car had slammed into a tree at high speed.



When police arrived, the girlfriend was crying. She claimed it was a tragic accident, that she lost control on a curve while swerving to miss a deer.


She walked away with minor injuries, but Daniel was crushed.


He was rushed to the hospital with massive head trauma and fell into a coma.


Doctors told the family to prepare for the worst. They said he would likely never wake up.


After several months, against all odds, Daniel opened his eyes.



He couldn't move much, and he was weak, but he was desperate to speak and whispered the truth about the crash.


He told them it wasn't an accident. They had gotten in an argument during the drive.


He revealed that in the moments before the impact, his girlfriend had intentionally accelerated.



He said she looked at him, said she was going to kill them both, and jerked the wheel into the tree on his side.


He gave a full statement, detailing exactly what happened.


Unfortunately months later, Daniel passed away.

But he held on just long enough to ensure justice was served.

Because of his words, police re-examined the crash data, which seemed to confirm his story. The girlfriend was arrested and charged.

That same day, her body was examined. It was found that she had suffered serious injuries to her head and neck before being strangled to death about 48 hours before her body was found. Despite many years of hard work by investigators, the identity of the Buckskin Girl remained unknown for over 30 years.
